The Brief

Springs Smokery sell Salmon using their online e-commerce website. Juicy SEO was tasked to increase more quality visitors – therefore visitors who are looking to buy salmon – to their website and increase sales.

At the start of the SEO campaign very little had been optimised so we were confident to be able to take Spring Smokery to the next level.

The Campaign

The website was quite small in the numbers of products they sold at the start of the campaign but increased over time. We identified early on that more content was needed to help target the keywords that would help their website perform better.

Something we noticed quite early on that Questions were very popular for this type of product and therefore was a focus for us to target these in our campaign.

Campaign Results

It can be a challenge to optimise an e-commerce website due to the nature of displaying the same product from different paths, but once a structure is set up and implemented all issue like duplicate content are fixed.
We couldn’t be happier with the results of our campaign, we managed to get 30% of our client’s website’s targeted keywords in the top 3 – most in first place – in Google’s organic search results.
We were up against some bigger competitors who had deeper pockets, so made our smile a little wider.
An increase of 12% on sales conversions also made our clients smile too!
